How do they get that "Ethics" is a related group??

They? Do you mean 'me'?

The smoking of tobacco and cannabis to me has become a subject of ethics.
When people ask if I smoke they are more concerned with the why I smoke rather then the preference of what I smoke. Thus I felt that within the context of the SU community, it was a most fitting category for this group.

Now that I think about it, we need a Libertarian group here, which would also be related.
